I have always looked for that Gambling
edge. I regularly read newspapers, magazines, internet sites and books for tips
and to learn “how to beat the bookies”. Sometimes these are successful but over
a number of years I still found that I was in net loss from my gambling career.
But that all changed when I found Betadvisor.com. It is a website with a
collection of some of the finest tipsters in the world that promises to make
you money. And how!

The first thing that struck me when I came
across the website was how professional looking it was. I have been on to many
similar sites, which look amateur and even have spelling mistakes littering
their site, which hugely dents my confidence in them making me a profit. The
black and gold colour scheme is enticing. The language options are impressive.
The tabs for tips, tipsters, pricing etc is all beautifully laid out. You
really can navigate to almost any part of the website in three mouse clicks or
less which must be commended.

Everyone has the ability to create an
account which comes with a great 7 day free trial of one tipster so that you
can see how the service works. What I love about my account is the customisable
options and the flexibility. I like all my odds in decimal so I have that saved
for my account, which makes life much easier for me. The ability to pause any
subscriptions is very helpful as it means you can take a break from gambling to
go on holiday but not have wasted money on a subscription.

Another major selling point to Betadvisor
is their customer support. There is live support available as well as telephone
and email support. I have used all three personally and I have found the
answers helpful, prompt and most importantly, polite.

I recently downloaded the Betadvisor iPhone
app. I found this incredibly helpful as tips come immediately to this app and
it makes betting on the move simple. The app itself does not yet have the same
excellent aesthetics as the website but it is only a very recent addition to
the Betadvisor service and I’m confident it will be improved in the future.
However, disregarding aesthetics, the app functions perfectly. It compliments
the SMS and email tip releases, allowing the bettor to get his bet on
efficiently.

I have yet to mention the actual tipsters.
All there past tips are shown on the website and it is all 100% transparent
with third party verification by two independent organisations. The majority of
tipsters are profitable. Some tipsters are truly gifted and have the ability to
make anyone a lot of money. They bet smart percentage of bankroll stakes which
allows for a slow but steady form of gambling which reduces risk and increases
overall profitability. Betadvisor also provide a “Guaranteed Profit
Subscription” which means that if at the end of your subscription with a
certain tipster, you are in loss, Betadvisor will extend the subscription until
you are profitable. So they really do put there money where their mouth is! Some
of the more successful tipsters do have a full service which can be
disappointing but this is necessary to prevent a large line movement so it is
understandable. There are many different lengths of subscription ranging from 1
month to 1 year which allows different bettors with different bankrolls and
objectives the flexibility to chose which subscription they want.

I find it hard to come up with any
negatives regarding the Betadvisor service. Some of the tipsters who are not as
profitable as others (and some make a loss a bit too regularly) but the
customer can choose which tipster they want so this is not really an issue.
Some tipsters analysis is in broken English because it is not their first
language but this does not matter as the tip is given clearly by betadvisor and
so the bet can be placed easily.

Overall I would give Betadvisor 5 stars out
of 5. It is by far and away the most professional and most complete tipster
website on the Internet. It is safe, efficient and above all else, it makes the
customer money.

I'm a online poker player. I have been playing professionally for almost five years now and while I have been able to live a pretty decent life thanks to it, about a year ago I started thinking about diversificating my income a little bit. I decided to go further though and started reading about stocks and Forex - first things that I associated with investing. And you know what? I was ready to believe it too. It was difficult not to. However encouraging it was to read about all the successful investors, I learned that I had to invest a decent sum to achieve the level of return that would satisfy me. The risk to reward ratio wasn't the one I was looking for. What I was looking for came to me from a direction I wouldn't suspect at that time. My friends were talking about football - latest matches, coming matches, their opinions - standard so far. Then they went on to discussing bets they had made and it hit me - sports betting, of course! Thing that so many poker players were talking about as well. As my experiences were mostly positive I will start with things I like about BetAdvisor. And one of the biggest positives in my opinion and thing that let me get started in the first place was:

- very small starting fund that I (and you) could achieve satisfying financial results with compared to other ways of investing - well, it may not exactly be a feature of BetAdvisor service itself but I decided to write about it because...

- Hey, I didn't have to know anything about sport and yet I profited! - this is something I think I actually liked the most. You don't have to spend time on analysis. The only choice you make is choosing a tipster and he takes care of decision making.

- wide selection of tipsters that is still growing - this is important for couple of reasons. Every tipster has his own habits and work ethic, hours of putting up tips, way of writing his pre-match analysis (and post-match ones) or league he covers. It's up to you to decide which league you want to bet on, which hours suits you best or which analysis convinces you the most. And of course which tipster you think is most profitable. Tips on BetAdvisor are proofed by independent websites so you can rest assured that the history data of every tipster is 100% authentic.

- SMS and email tips notifications - after you decide which tipster to follow, you start receiving SMS messages with information what to bet on and what stake to choose. And I should mention there is always a notification sms 10-15 minutes earlier that lets you prepare for betting so you're ready to catch the best odds across multiple bookmakers. It is also worth mentioning that BetAdvisor has its own mobile version of website and mobile app that come in handy when you don't have access to computer.

- so called guaranteed profit subscriptions - when you buy 3 months subscription or longer and you happen to be down money when it expires, your subscription is extended till you at least break even. There are also discounts when buying 3 months+ subscriptions and I think every one of us know how every percent of ROI matters.

- support - just world class. The longest I have ever waited for reply to my mail was about half an hour. My questions were always fully answered. It is a perfect example of how customer should be treated and even though it is not stressed on their website, it should be because it is definitely one of the biggest selling points of BetAdvisor.

Nobody and nothing is perfect though and BetAdvisor is not the exception to this. In my nearly year long journey with the website I've found things that could be improved which are:

- opening too many spaces for some of the tipsters - the biggest downside of the service in my eyes as it causes the odds in lower-limits markets to drop so fast it is sometimes not possible to place the bet. Fortunately, only sometimes. But it's definitely field to improve.

- rules of promoting tipsters - not that big of a deal but also not something I liked. There are too many situations where tipster is promoted from Academy just after or during his upswing which can be misleading for people who don't know the impact of variance on betting. However understandable from business point of view, it doesn't help image of BetAdvisor among more experienced customers. Field to improve.

- poorly written analysis/messages/news of some of the tipsters - actually there are a few that I could hardly understand. Not that much of a issue for me personally but if you are interested in a good reasoning of a tip, it can be a problem.

As you can clearly see positives outweigh downsides of the service by far and I have decided to let that be the summary. Some of you might say it is only because I haven't been with BetAdvisor for long enough to see other drawbacks. Well, I was hesitant before signing my first subscription as well. I have done the research and decided to trust BetAdvisor's tipsters. 8 months and 14 subscriptions later I can safely say I've made a right decision.

Let's start with a presentation of betadvisor :

Betadvisor is a company selling betting tips made by tipsters. It’s based in France in a town close to Paris named Levallois Perret. It was created in February 2010. The company is recruiting its own tipsters two ways: through specialized sports betting tips forums or its own tipster academy. The tips are available by buying a monthly subscription. The tipster will receive a fraction of this subscription. Every bet proposed is verified by an independent company, which lends credibility and reliability to Betadvisor tips.

How does it work?
Betadvisor proposes a subscription to a tipster, a sport specialist, in one of the 8 suggested sports. It’s really simple! After choosing the tipster you want (you can view their results on the site), you just have to create your account and pay by either credit/debit card, Paypal or Moneybookers. Then you will receive his picks (tips) by mail and by text message on your mobile phone. In this text, you will find the tipster’s name, the competition he’s betting on, his stake (shown as the percentage of his bank roll), the bookmaker proposing the bet and the best current odds. What’s next? You just need to make the bet. Once the bet is finished, you will receive a text with the result. Furthermore, a post-event analysis is available on the website, which will give you the opportunity to understand why the tipster made this bet. If, unfortunately, you have lost your bet, you may find a “why I lost this pick”.

Subscriptions
The subscription prices change depending on the tipster’s performance, from 99€ to 199€ a month. You can subscribe for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. The monthly price will decrease depending on the length of your subscription. Of course, you may have several tipster subscriptions at once, which may afford you a discount.

To be honest, Betadvisor is not perfect but it is one of the best service you can find on the net. You have to make good choices before using this service, you must select experienced tipsters according to your planning, your bankroll, your bookmakers (maybe you have some restrictions) and your psychology (if you don t like losing run, you should avoid horse racing for example). Making the good choices is the most important thing, you have to remember this before taking subscriptions.

1/ You have the opportunity to discover new sports thanks to the tipsters. Thanks to Aiden Monroe (one of the best tipster), i learnt a lot of stuff on horses, bank management etc. Furthermore, you can ask questions about betting, the tipsters will try to help you (for instance, i asked some questions about taxes in UK and Aiden answered me in the next hour).

2/ The support is very quick to answer. The betadvisor team is very comprehensive, in the past i encountered some issues about taking nitu's tips at the same line and odd. We speak a lot with Stuart and Guillaume about this issue, they finally find a solution and now the odds decrease slower than few months ago.

3/ The service evolves constantly in a good way. Few months ago, Guaranteed profit subscriptions appeared and then mobile app. Betadvisor offered a spreadsheet for dealing with your bankroll etc.

In short,
Betadvisor is an excellent way to discover sports betting and to potentially
make some money, which is always welcome.

So okay, let's start. First of all I am going to tell you that
subscribing to BetAdvisor is not a flawless way of making money. We all
know that there is no thing for free in this world or "no free lunch"
and in this case you get rewarded for the risk you take - this is how
betting works. And from this point I can highlight the main purpose of
BetAdvisor - and it is not TO WIN MONEY FOR YOU, it is TO FIND VALUABLE
INFO FOR YOU AND TO ADVISE YOU WHAT TO BET ON. I mean this is not the
case where you do not have to do anything, just sit on your couch and
drink beer in front of the TV while money flows into your account.
Wrong. All the other things that betting involves are left to you,
bettors - bankroll management, fast line movement, finding best odds,
best limits, bet sizing, appropriate mindset and all the other tactics.
So, in other words, it is the service that professionally helps bettors
to find the safest option in the betting market. However, I have already
mentioned that this service and the betting help they provide is not
perfect so I would like to point out some pros and cons of BetAdvisor
that might help either those considering to purchase BetAdvisor
subscription for the first time or even BetAdvisor staff when it comes
to improvements of their service.
I will firstly talk about the
drawbacks that became obvious to me during my whole experience with
BetAdvisor (I can admit that I am connected with BetAdvisor and their
service for a bit over 1 year - not very much, but enough, I guess, to
be able to evaluate it objectively).
1. The main drawback, naturally,
comes from the tipsters' side. To be more accurate, from the tipsters
selection process. To my mind the trial period for the tipsters is way
too short, cause every tipster in the academy can easily create a new
account after a bad month and wait for the short hot run. And as soon as
he hits it, BetAdvisor promotes him (20% yield in 3 months indeed looks
good), but as soon as he is promoted, his results almost always get
back to the actual level (and that is a lot below the 20%), so all new
subscribers simply lose money and their confidence in new tipsters. And
this is evident from all the stats - there is almost no tipster (from
the newly promoted) whose results are better from the moment he was
promoted than the results from the trial period. So my advice here - a
longer and more careful tipsters selection process would do better.
2.
Let's face it, betting consists of both downswings and rises, and when a
serious and longer downswing occurs, BetAdvisor just simply removes
that tipster from their service without leaving the ability for
subscribers to bounce back with the tipster.
3. Half of the tipsters
are football tipsters that perform not so well and often bet the same
bets on the same matches while other sports or leagues remain uncovered
while they are possibly more profitable because bookies don't follow
them closely.
4. The tipsters' profits do not reflect the possible
subscribers' profit - most of them place bets at the best available odds
while the subscribers only get the already dropped lines, so in the
long term the difference becomes more than visible. My advice is to tell
all of the tipsters to publish tips with not the best lines or odds
available so that the subscribers' results would be closer to the
official results on BetAdvisor website.

I could also mention
such childish arguments amongst the drawbacks like "TIPSTERS ARE LOSING,
THEY ARE WORTHLESS, WHERE IS MY MONEY??? I CAN'T PLACE A SINGLE BET
CAUSE THE LINES MOVE TOO FAST" and the like I have heard from others,
but I will refrain from those emotional comments, cause when you enter
the betting world you firstly have to understand that you also have to
do your OWN HOMEWORK when choosing which tipster is right for you and
whose tips you will be able to place, not to mention the correct mindset
that lets you overcome the losing streaks in the appropriate manner. So
when you do your homework correctly, you see a number of quality
features that BetAdvisor service has to offer. I want to name some of
the most important for me.
1. The first and the most important thing
is the customer service. I mean seriously, I haven't seen a better
customer service team than BetAdvisor has to offer. They always answer
to all queries in a very short time, they are always willing to help,
they are very flexible and you can easily make a deal with them or even
offer your own, they always pay attention to customer reviews, comments
and wishes on the social network and always try to professionally
discuss every matter regarding their service.
2. The service is very
transparent. You can easily follow all tipsters you are interested in
every single day, all the picks are proofed, statistics are renewed and
calculated so that your choice of selecting the right tipster would
become easier and math-based.
3. The detailed previews. Although some
tipsters are better at this than others, previews at BetAdvisor are
still the feature that makes this service stand out from the others. The
ability to look at the situation from the tipsters' angle allows you to

because of that the tipsters gain my trust.

for me is the "pause my subscription" button, so I am not tied to my
subscription and can easily combine my betting activity with my free
time.
6. Guaranteed profit subscriptions. This option means the only
thing - both parties (me and BetAdvisor) are confident in what they are
doing. In other words, I can safely place bets without worrying too much
about the outcomes of the picks and about the quality of the service -
If BetAdvisor gives such guarantees, they are sure that the tipster will
be profitable in the long term. Maybe the only thing that could be
improved is to somehow include the subscription costs in the guaranteed
profit subscriptions. I understand it is not the easiest thing to do,
but, for example, leaving the subscription active until 100+ units of
profit is reached would be reasonable.
7. SMS service and the mobile
app. Also one of the very first things I liked the most was the SMS
service, that included both notifications and the picks. They always
come promptly and let you prepare for placing a bet and catching the
best lines. The newly introduced mobile app was even more handy and
faster than SMS service itself, so I was able to react almost the same
way on-the-go with my mobile phone as I was using my PC.

All
thing considered, I would recommend the service of BetAdvisor to anyone
who is interested in betting (or even not interested) without doubt.
Although there are some minor or "cosmetic" weaknesses of the service,
like soft tipsters selection process or a bit higher profits than those
of subscribers', if you do your homework when choosing the right tipster
that suits your needs and wishes, you get more than a decent tipping
service with a fair price, full previews, reviews and comments,
SMS/Mobile notifications and tips, all your statistics, help from the
customer service team and many more. To be short, I am very happy that I

It's very easy to get started, you just go the website where you can browse through all the betters, here is all the information you need, to find the right better for you.
